POSITION SUMMARY - PUBLIC WORKS TECHNICIAN

Under the supervision of the Director of Public works, this position will perform
skilled work pertaining to the maintenance and construction of city property,
facilities, streets, storm drains, sewers, etc. Operates and maintains special
equipment related to this work.

• $14.50 an hour to start
• 8-hour shifts, M-F
• Benefits include paid medical & life insurance for the employee as well as a

OVERVIEW OF DUTIES

• Operates a variety of hand tools, construction/maintenance equipment and

• Observes safe work habits& use safety equipment
• Occasionally responds to after hour emergency calls

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
