Assist & oversee Roofing projects including field staff, equipment, materials, scheduling, cost efficiency, safety, quality and production for all assigned projects. The Project Coordinator is responsible for the overall results of the job which include both office and field duties.


JOB DESCRIPTION


  • Complete a full job file review prior to any job starts. Review of assigned project with estimator. Familiarization of and plans, specifications and details of project.
  • Assist and review of contract(s), schedule of values.
  • Assist in obtaining all necessary permits.
  • Complete preconstruction forms. Complete preexisting damage reports. Schedule and participate in pre-roofing conference before roofing work begins.
  • Coordinate work schedule with clients and subcontractors and inform General Manager and project staff of all changes in the schedule.
  • Monitor job progress and control costs.
  • Resolve problems and issues that may arise – includes contractual.
  • Prepare estimates & documentation for minor change orders. Provide information/support to estimators for major change orders.
  • Communicate job progress to clients and internal teams.
  • Prepare progress billing and manage collections.
  • Complete final inspections
  • Communicate and coordinate with General Manager, Project Managers, clients and subcontractors

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an assistant project manager in the roofing industry

Strong computer skills are a necessity, including familiarity with construction project management applications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills and are required to interface directly with owners’

representatives, building departments and other team members

Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize responsibilities and duties

Verbal and written communication skills

Ability to interact and effectively communicate with coworkers and field technicians
