Production Assembler Job at Siemens Industry Inc. (Buffalo Grove)
Duties:
- Manufactures products using visual aids, written work instructions, and procedures.
- Uses hand, pneumatic, and power tools, small to large machinery, material handling equipment, and computer run equipment in the performance of the job.
- Moves parts and materials as needed to maintain an orderly material flow.
- Rotates between operations within a work cell as well as between departments. Prepares work cell and/or department records.
- Notifies appropriate personnel if the process/method is out of compliance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to function and contribute in a team environment.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, push, pull, or a combination of all movement types as required by and for the duration of the job assignment.
- Capability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.), electric and pneumatic power tools, and in-house developed product-specific tooling/fixtures.
You should be proficient in:
- Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
- Mechanical Assembly Skills
- Meets Physical Requirements
- High School / GED
Salary info:
$17.50 - $19.25 / hr
