Summary:

The Product Specialist will collaborate and support the market launch of new items within the Titleist Golf Gear category. Develop and oversee the Special Make-Up & Special Editions process and item creation for Global projects – including but not limited to insights gathering, market analysis, data maintenance and calendar objections. Collaborate cross functionally with Design, Development, Operations, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service to bring Gear products to market.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of the SMU & Special Editions product lifecycle process by driving product teams to collect, organize and present data, trends, product specs, market needs, strategies and other critical information.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely present to key stakeholders in category.
  • Support and collaborate with Custom Gear Team to enhance process, planning and costing for customized product offerings.
  • Provide assistance in developing an actionable and scalable personalization plan for Golf Gear category.
  • Usage and maintenance of PLM system to ensure new product launches are seamlessly managed across systems.
  • Conduct competitive and market research to help drive product direction and create compelling storytelling.
  • Manage analysis and update as needed for key milestones in the development process.
  • Support Product Managers in capitalizing on opportunities of improvement for on-time delivery, quality, costing, pricing and other.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in related field (Marketing, Business) is required.
  • 1-2 years experience in a broad range of functions including product/project management, marketing, sales, business and/or product development.
  • Experience working with a PLM system a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the game of golf preferred.
  • Ability to travel within the US and Internationally.
  • Must be available on off-hours to communicate with ex-US markets.
  • This associate will need to have an extreme attention to detail, be exceptionally organized, and have excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Must be highly proficient with PowerPoint, Word & Microsoft Excel.
