The Senior Principal Cloud Azure Solutions Engineer is part of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) and responsible for defining and delivering on the Infrastructure as Code and Development Tools that will align the use of cloud services technologies to the published product roadmap.
You will partner with multi-functional teams to deliver integrations and patterns across the defined product line for deployment teams to consume DTCC cloud platform in AWS to meet critical technology and business requirements.
A key responsibility is to influence roadmaps, build standard processes, and deliver on regulatory requirements for the products within the cloud platform, encouraging an enterprise technical strategy for a particular service.
What you'll do:

• Provide expert leadership in developing the solutions for highly scalable, highly available, Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) patterns and platform integrations
• Product ownership of IaC technology and development tools pipeline for onboarding infrastructure onto the AWS environment
• Introduce processes, tools, and methodologies to balance needs throughout the software development process, from coding and deployment to maintenance and updates
• Drive adoption of AWS landing zones and account provisioning
• Facilitate meetings with business partners and technologies teams to build consensus and crafting solution decisions without compromising delivery and/or service
• Assist Cloud Architecture in crafting automation standards, identifying, and mitigating risks with technology and help drive solutions for the enterprise.
• Build, modify, and adapt cloud compute solutions to keep the organization aligned between the business requirements and technology capabilities.
• Provide foresight into potential future technology trends or issues that will impact the organization and provide mitigation plans to address
• Provide standards and platform(s) for future application development and help develop team members to use the technologies
• Provide insight into standard methodologies with automation, systems management, processes and standards, application performance, capability, and tuning, and storage and network management
• Align existing application portfolio to cloud standards and services
• Be a highly motivated and active technology leader within multiple work streams and lead deliveries accordingly across multiple projects
• Review and evaluate new technologies that could be beneficial to the enterprise
• Ability to analyze problems, define solutions, and articulate those in a clear discernible manner.
• Connect with all levels of the organization, senior leadership to professional staff
• Keeps tabs on business, operational, and technology trends that may affect the portfolio and strategy

Sound like you?

• 10+ years of engineering, code development, and implementation of highly scalable, highly available infrastructure solutions, and services
• 5+ years of demonstrated ability with Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) services and solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in working with cloud-based technologies (Amazon Web Services) in an Enterprise computing environment.
• Experience with Infrastructure automation technologies (Terraform, Scalr, Jenkins, Git, bitbucket)
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies and delivery processes (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
• In depth knowledge of application development including application servers, middleware, systems management, monitoring, configuration management, capacity planning and performance tuning, highly availability architectures.
• Strong organizational, task, and project management skills
• Dedicated and able to work across diverse technical and non-technical teams.
• Proven DevOps expertise including automation and continuous delivery model
• Demonstrable record for solution design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and high-performance application and database
