Georgetown Hill Early School is a non-profit school serving Maryland families' preschool, elementary, and child care needs since 1980. Our mission is to join together teachers, children and their families to create an unsurpassed early childhood educational experience.

We are looking for a qualified Spanish Instructor to offer Spanish language enrichment programs to preschool and early elementary students at several of our Montgomery County campuses! This is a part time position and the schedule will be approximately M-F 9:30am - 1:00pm.

This position will require travel to multiple Georgetown Hill campuses and applicants should have reliable transportation options. Your role will be to meet the individual needs of students as part of our language enrichment program.

What You Will Do:

• Teach Spanish to children ages 3-6 at various campuses using our creative, age-appropriate curriculum
• Supervision of children to assure the health, welfare, and safety of all students
• Demonstrate effective communication skills and positive interpersonal relations with children, families, colleagues, and community
• Collaborate with Georgetown Hill’s other Spanish instructors and specialists to plan activities, share ideas, problem-solve, and make program improvements
• Maintain a safe, positive, classroom environment for all students and staff

• Fluency in both spoken and written Spanish & English
• MSDE 90hr certification or CDA certification with Preschool endorsement preferred
• Reliable transportation (this position requires local travel)
• Understanding of the principles of child development and teaching methods
• Proficient technological skills to utilize various productivity tools
• A personal demeanor that is warm, friendly, and cool-tempered
• Extremely reliable in attendance and punctuality
