QC Kinetix is pioneering the advancement of regenerative medicine and bringing treatments once only accessible to professional athletes to the masses. As such, we are excited to be partnering with Emmitt Smith, the NFL’s all-time leading rusher, to introduce one of the fastest-growing medical specialties to people in need of pain relief.

We are a private pay specialty clinic and do not work with insurance or third-party payers. QC Kinetix currently operates approximately 140 clinics in 30+ states with more in development. And our team members must be passionate about regenerative medicine and helping patients through natural means of healing without the use of drugs or surgery.

We are currently looking for an exceptional PA or NP to perform orthopedic focused exams and administer joint injections in an out-patient setting. This position is a part-time role and perfect for a highly qualified PA or NP looking for an excellent working culture and very competitive pay. Ideal candidates will have extremely positive attitudes, believe in the potential of regenerative medicine to help people avoid surgery, have joint injection experience and ideally an orthopedic background, and have exceptional bedside manner with the ability to build immediate rapport with patients.

Position is part-time with one (1) day, or occasionally (2) days, per week located in our Beaumont, TX clinic with the possibility of occasional work in our Lafayette, LA clinic (if licensed to do so). We aim to see 5-30 patients per day the clinic is open. A positive attitude, flexibility, and strong work ethic are essential. The ideal candidate must be a highly motivated team-player who preferably has healthcare elective procedure experience in dealing with an out-of-pocket (no insurance) medical practice.

The selected candidate(s) may be required to travel to Charlotte, NC, for a single day of training on procedures. All travel expenses for training are paid by clinic.

Essential skills and duties:

  • Knowledge and belief in the potential of regenerative therapies to help patients avoid surgery
  • Performs under the supervision of the Medical Director.
  • Sees all new patients after intake paperwork has been filled out; obtains an accurate history and physical exam of each new patient at QC Kinetix, including subjective information, objective information, makes an assessment, and formulates a treatment plan.
  • Coordinates with supervising physician to address any questions or concerns regarding pathologies to be treated or treatment plan for specific pathologies.
  • Exceptional knowledge and enthusiasm will gain the trust of patients and help them to make the decision to begin treatment with us.
  • Approximately 10-30 joint injections per day.
  • Perform orthopedic focused exams

Required education, licensing, and experience:

  • Active Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Texas (Required)
  • One year experience at minimum as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Joint and trigger point injections 1 year (Preferred)
  • Orthopedic Exams 1 year (Required)
  • Read and interpret x-rays, MRI’s, and diagnostic reports (required)
  • Use of portable ultrasound equipment (Required)
  • Specialty in Pain Management, Ortho, or Sports Medicine (Preferred)
  • Experience performing BMAC procedures a plus
  • Certain Prescriptive authorities, knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and the ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage.
  • EMR systems: 1 year (required)
  • Practice Fusion a plus
  • Bachelor’s (Required)
  • Master’s (Favorable)

Schedule and Pay:

  • $650 - $750 per day, with quarterly bonus tied to clinic performance.
  • Contract (1099) position
  • Professional Liability Insurance coverage paid by clinic
  • 8-10 hour shift every Thursday, plus occasional additional shifts available each month.
  • Day shift only
  • The selected candidate(s) must be able to travel to Charlotte, NC, for 2 days of training on all procedures. Travel expenses for training are paid by clinic.
  • Excessive commutes discouraged
  • Additional days possible by working in another clinic (Lafayette, LA) if appropriately licensed.
