A community health center in New York needs a part-time adult psychiatry medical director. Work 20 to 25 hours a week with no weekends or call responsibilities. The incoming physician will provide psychiatric care to adults in an ambulatory setting. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic mental health conditions. Provide individual psychotherapy and medication management as appropriate. Provide consultations to the medical and mental health staff, and attend weekly medical/mental health staff meetings when on-site. They welcome candidates that are board certified with at least 2 years of experience.

This employed position offers an hourly rate, malpractice coverage, and PTO.
