We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physician Assistant to join our dynamic medical team. As a Physician Assistant in the medical industry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in an urgent care setting. You will work closely with our team of physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive timely and effective treatment.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Physician Assistant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, and prescribing medications as needed
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and lab work
- Providing patient education and counseling on various health-related topics
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state where you will be practicing
- 2+ years of experience working as a Physician Assistant in an urgent care or similar setting
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
