The Personal Banker is an entry level position responsible for the assistance in the execution of sales, products or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective of this role is to foster relations with customers to build loyalty and to help increase sales to individual consumer clients.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver sales/service to internal and external customers, sustain relationships with top consumer and business clients
• Support strategies that increase the client base and implement appropriate sales call plans to target prospects and external business development opportunities
• Provide range of banking services to individual customers and businesses, emphasizing personal financial counseling
• Educate customers on utilizing available access channels (e.g. ATM, online and telephone banking) and product lines cross business
• Analyze market and customer profile trends, and support other strategies to identify potential sales opportunities
• Execute integrated sales, relationship, and credit strategies and refer opportunities to segment partners
• Support sales/ service activities by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Mentor new Personal Bankers and Associates
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Previous sales/ branch experience, as required by the business

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
