Rome Health is seeking a dynamic individual to fill a Patient Access Training Supervisor. This is a full time position generally working between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, but may require availability to work other shifts. The patient access training coordinator will be onboarding and training new employees in the patient access department.

EXPERIENCE: Work in an acute care hospital, physician's office, or other health care agency. Experience with staffing, staff training , registration accuracy . have good knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, with a strong back ground in an ELCTRONIC OFFICE ENVIRONMENT.

KNOWLEDGE NEEDED FOR JOB: Knowledge of office procedures and equipment, health insurance and medical terminology desired.

SKILLS NEEDS: Communication, leadership and supervisory skills, keyboarding, operation of office equipment, telephone courtesy. Ability to process detailed information.

Job Duties:

1. Provides support to the department Director / Manager.

2. Develop Training Classes and Materials.

3. Participates in quality improvement training and competency evaluation processes.

4. If not in the role of trainer this person will act as a patient registrar.

5. Create monthly accuracy reports and distributes them as required.

6. Responsible for review of registration and documentation.

7. Other duties as assigned.
