Operations - Yard Laborer - Portales Job at Western Dairy Transport LLC
- Check trucks and trailers to ensure they are up to DOT regulation:
- Lights
- Mud Flaps
- Health Sticker
- 30 Day Health Inspection
- Etc.
- Get an accurate WDT yard check every 3 hours:
- Answer phones professionally
- Clean out trucks daily
- Disinfect steering wheel and gear shift
- Clean dash, mirrors, floor, windows (interior and exterior)
- Ensure slip seat trucks are distributed as directed by management
- Check trucks IN and OUT
- Any part put on a truck or trailer needs to be written down with the part number and brief description on where it was replaced.
- On the 1800 yard check include the following:
- Trucks or trailers that need to be dead lined with a brief description explaining what is wrong
- Slip seat trucks that were cleaned during the shift
- Any repairs done with a brief description
- General yard and building maintenance/sanitation
- Maintain cleaning supplies
- Request through manager when needed
- Other duties deemed by supervisor/manager
