Medical Front Desk Receptionist Job at California Vein Specialists
Looking for a full time front desk representative for busy specialist medical office. This person is the first person our patients meet in the lobby and the first person they talk to on the phone. Friendly and bright, with excellent telephone voice and skills a must! Computer savvy with use of Outlook & Dr Chrono (EMR) an advantage. This job description includes opening the office daily, 8:30am-5:00pm Monday – Thursday, and 7:30am-12:00pm on Fridays.
Tasks would include the following:
· Obtaining new patient information before seen by the doctor
· Electronic health record data entry
· Tracking medical supplies inventory and ordering
· Answering phones
· Confirming and rescheduling appointments – ensuring the schedule is full
· Checking patients in and out
· Collecting payments
· Preparing charts for the next day
Preferred qualifications:
· Previous vein practice experience
· Experience with sterile techniques
· High level of customer service and phone skills
· Knowledge of insurance plans in general: CoPays, CoInsurance, and Deductibles
· High level of computer skills - Outlook & Dr Chrono (EMR) and Kareo knowledge
· High attention to detail
· CPR Certification
· Bilingual

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
