We train medical professionals to become Podiatry Medical Assistants (PMA). Since we are a highly specialized practice, extensive training is provided. What is needed is a desire to provide legendary patient care and to learn and develop new skills. Some medical background is required through experience or schooling. This is a great opportunity for individuals that desire enhanced professional development in the health care field as our doctors and medical staff treat patients with wide ranging conditions from wounds to fractures and perform treatments including lasers, office procedures and surgery.

Responsibilities include:

preparing and maintaining treatment rooms,

prepping patients,

charting,

scanning for custom orthotics

administering patient treatment plans

sterlizing instruments,

scheduling MRIs,

scheduling surgeries,

assisting with procedures,

communicating with patients,

taking x-rays,

inventory control.

Other tasks as assigned which could include administrative tasks.

The candidates we seek are patient oriented, have excellent communication skills (oral and written), enjoy taking initiative, work well within teams and promote a positive work environment. The have strong organizational, communication, process management and interpersonal skills are critical for successful candidates.
