Marketing Project Manager - North of Boston

The Simon Group is a fast-paced marketing communications Agency in North Andover, MA and we are growing! We provide integrated solutions to clients, offering expertise that includes consulting, strategy, brand development, print and digital design, implementation and fulfillment. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Marketing Project Manager who can support our growing client base. As the ideal candidate, you’ll work with our seasoned roster of professionals in an atmosphere of collaboration, creativity, productivity and teamwork.

The Simon Group has been remote throughout the pandemic but is actively pursuing a flexible hybrid return to work plan. We anticipate approximately 2 days in the office and the rest working from home.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage marketing campaigns and projects, from setup through completion.
  • Support Account Director in their efforts to develop and execute marketing strategies
  • Maintain and build on-going business relationships with clients, in support of the Account Team.
  • Interact with clients in a professional, collaborative and positive manner to promote a lasting relationship
  • Help develop and support the presentation of creative and strategy to clients
  • Assist in developing proposals, creative briefs, and campaign schedules
  • Participate in creative development and reviews as necessary
  • Prepare reports for clients on campaign status, analytics/metrics, and other reports as needed
  • Attend client status calls and meetings and capture and distribute notes and/or action items
  • Assist with the implementation of media strategy
  • Support new business development initiatives
  • Utilize database to create and track projects, track time, and keep assignment notes
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of campaigns and projects, meet client deadlines and expectations, and meet financial benchmarks

Qualifications:

  • A strong client-service orientation
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail and follow-through
  • Thinks strategically and has strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Is a self-starter who can work independently, take direction when needed, anticipate work needs, organize work flow and follow through with minimal oversight in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent grammar/proofreading skills
  • Has excellent written and oral communication skills and can communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external clients in person, in writing or on the phone
  • Encourages and supports team members and has a positive attitude and a sense of humor
  • Excellent diplomacy, math aptitude, professionalism, organization, presentation, time management, and marketing skills
  • 1+ years of related experience in a marketing role or agency is preferred
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (like Marketing, Communications, Business Admin)
  • An advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and database operations

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
