Atherton & Associates, LLP is seeking a dynamic, creative, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall marketing strategy based on Firm goals and objectives. This includes responsibility for the professional appearance, quality and content of all company communications to clients and the general public such as proposals, financial documents, marketing materials as well as social media. The Marketing Coordinator’s responsibilities will assist in maintaining Atherton and Associates’ presence and visibility in the community as a premier CPA Firm known in the community for its tradition of excellence in client service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or public relations (preferred).
- Two years relevant marketing experience including social media management in a corporate environment.
- Strong technology skills, Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Adobe.
- Experience managing social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling, presentation skills.
- A professional presence with the ability to effectively present Firm services to prospective clients.
- Creative thinker, excellent listener, decision maker, problem solver, takes initiative, demonstrates personal integrity and strong work ethic.
- Team player with a positive attitude, commitment to quality and improvement.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent customer service focus and interpersonal skills, ability/willingness to attend community events and develop new relations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relevant community and business partnerships.
- Identify business development opportunities and lead the Firm's marketing/outreach activities accordingly.
- Proposal design and development, resulting in clear, concise, compelling, professionally finished proposals for client presentation.
- Professional formatting of Firm's financial statements for client presentation.
- Responsible for strategizing, creating, editing, distributing, and optimizing content across Firm's social media platforms Facebook and LinkedIn, to attract, engage and retain clients.
- Management of Firm's website, including uploading company information, career opportunities, professional bios, photos, images, etc., to build meaningful connections and encourage engagement.
- Manage initial and prospective client relations/communications, prospective client inquiries, including introduction of Firm's services through welcome and onboarding of new clients.
- Assess, monitor and maintain Firm's supply of marketing and recruiting materials, modifying as necessary to ensure well-designed, effective company brochures, etc. Review/selection of vendors.
- Plan, organize and coordinate Firm's internal and external functions and activities including company Christmas Dinner, Friday lunches, etc.
