ROLE: Market Director
Chanel, Inc., a leader in the luxury goods industry, seeks a Market Director to join our Fragrance and Beauty field team. Responsibilities include leading and developing a team of Account Executives and Education Executives, with a focus on the client and service experience which will ultimately drive sales and lead to market share growth. The Market Director will be responsible for identifying opportunities within their region, partnering with the Head of Sales and Corporate partners to support their market; including but not limited to execution of business objectives, promotional programming with an oversight to market profitability, upholding brand image and talent development.
The ideal candidate has a passion for Fragrance and Beauty, has worked within a Multi Brand Retail and/or Retail environment, and has experience managing significant sales volume. Must have strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

What you will bring to the team...
- Multi Brand Retail or Retail experience, not necessarily specific to Fragrance and Beauty
- An understanding of the client and client expectations and shopping habits
- The ability to influence internal and external stakeholders in support of market strategies
- Ability to provide key insights from the MBR landscape in effort to gain support or investment of strategic initiatives
Position Logistics:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Suite
- Prior leadership experience
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Home office set up
- Travel requirement of approx 50-75%
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift at minimum 40 pounds
