Position Summary
The Accreditation and Licensing Manager is vital to Children's system to ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies. This position will report to the Compliance Officer.
The Accreditation and Licensing Manager responsible for planning, designing, implementation, and maintenance of the hospital's accreditation and licensing status. The Accreditation and Licensing Manager will ensure that the hospital and all services included in the State of Minnesota license are in continual readiness status for The Joint Commission (TJC), Department of Health Services (DHS), and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) surveys. This position is responsible for the overall continual regulatory readiness and compliance with all standards of accreditation and certification. The Accreditation and Licensing Manager acts as the primary liaison with the external surveyors and other regulatory representatives.
Location: Hybrid with the expectation of being onsite roughly 40% of time.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in accreditation and compliance experience required
- Regulatory and accreditation experience required
- Healthcare accreditation strongly preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong written, verbal and listening skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Project management skills
- Ability to read regulations and accreditation standards
- Ability to work with varying levels of leadership
- Ability to utilize data to develop dashboards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
- Experience with Compliance 360 or similar GRC tools
