Building and Industrial Machine Maintenance:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Follow all plant health and safety standards including wearing proper PPE

· Perform Scheduled Preventive Maintenance on all Facility equipment. (Printing Presses, Baler, RTU’s, Compressors, etc.)

· Repair all Facility equipment in a timely manner as needed

· Strong time management and prioritization skills

· Maintain a neat and organized work area

· Maintain Building structurally as needed

· Maintain spare parts inventory

· Must provide your own tool box, hand tools, and power tools

Qualifications:

· Must follow all plant rules including wearing of PPE and LOTOTO at all times

· Basic reasoning, mathematical, reading, and maintenance skills. Must be detail oriented with problem solving skills

· Must be able to read a tape measure and use a variety of power and hand tools. Including but not limited to: Meters, Calipers, Pi Tape, Bench Grinder, Drill Press

· Must be dependable and report to work on-time for start of shift when scheduled and stay until the machines are down for the day.

· Corrugated experience a plus with an emphasis on Ward Flexographic equipment. Change and maintain Oil levels, Greasing, measuring roller diameters

· Must be able to read and understand work orders, electrical schematics, building blueprints, mechanical drawings, and have basic computer skills (Office Suite, and SAP)

· Must have Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electrical, & Electronic knowledge (Allen Bradley PLC’s, Giddings & Lewis PCU’s, sensors, light barriers, & conveyor lines)

· Must have building maintenance knowledge, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical

· Communicate to supervisor about potential problems with the building or equipment when they are observed.

· Communicate to supervisors about health and safety issues

Physical Demands:

· Be able to lift up to 50 LBS

· Able to stand, walk, crawl in tight areas at times and able to work at heights

· Repetitive gripping, twisting wrist motions

· Be able to step up and down from equipment and ladders

Environment:

· Manufacturing environment

· Loud and constant machine and forklift noise (Earplugs required)

· Dust/dirt (Goggles are required)

· Slippery surfaces due to water usage during cleanups

· Concrete and hard walking surfaces (Steel toed boots required)

· Cool in the Winter

· Hot in the summer (No A/C)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
