Logistics Coordinator
We have a temporary to hire opportunity to support a busy Maintenance department of a Lathrop Manufacturing Company that specializes in Electric Powered Vehicles.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in fleet maintenance environment
- Familiar with Excel
- Computer Skills
- Communication and Written Skills
- Prior experience working in Logistics or Manufacturing
Job Description
- Oversee scheduled maintenance jobs to decrease fleet downtime.
- Coordinate services with equipment/vendors/parts.
- Help coordinate the selection and acquisition of vehicles and equipment based on functionality, efficiency, life-cycle costing and environmental regulations.
- Track and manage the proper licensing and permits for the fleet in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, mail, data entry, word processing, filing, other duties as assigned.
- Maintain equipment spare parts inventory list and ensure spare parts available as needed.
- Maintain vehicle maintenance records for all fleet vehicles and mobile equipment.
- Ability to survey, control, dispatch, and follow-up of all types of tools pertaining to an assigned department.
