Compensation Range: $15.00/HR - $20.00/HR- Negotiable

Hours of the Daycare Center:6:00 A.M- 6:00 P.M (Monday-Friday)- Availability mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Imagine your future as a preschool teacher working for a family owned and operated childcare center where you make a difference for children every day. This would be considered as a Part/Full time position depending on employee’s preference. In this position you would be responsible for Toddler through school age children as there is no infant care required.

As a Child Care Teacher, you will:

· You will be working in a team environment with other aids and volunteers.

· Create lesson plans and lead activities based on observations of the children's interests and needs.

· Observing children to help them improve their social competencies and build self- esteem.

· Teaching social skills which include colors, shapes and numbers.

· Communicate daily with parents, document and share the important milestones in their child's day.

· Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines provided.

Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 and meet one of nine possible combined credential, education and experience requirements, such as a high school diploma with 4,160 hours experience as an assistant teacher and 24 quarter credits in a childcare-related field.

· Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.

· Early Childhood coursework, CDA and degree required for this position.

· CPR and First Aid is required, ongoing training would be provided for all state. requirements
