Landscape Maintenance Foreperson Job at Accent Landscapes
Position Description
Accent Landscapes offers premier property management and landscape services to commercial and residential clients in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. We are currently looking for an experience Landscape Maintenance Foreperson to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing project management of outdoor spaces, trainings crew members, and ensuring safety guidelines.
Duties Include
Essential Functions:
- Project management
- Manages schedules
- Ensures job site safety
- Completes job worksheets and turn in daily
- Manages and trains crew members
- Installs and maintains trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, and bulbs
- Prunes trees, shrubs, and roses
- Edges and mulches planting beds and tree rings
- Promotes weed control in planting beds and tree rings
- Maintains plant health
- Identifies plant material
- Identifies insects and diseases on plant material
- Uses various types of power and hand tools in performing maintenance and installation tasks
- Provides tools and equipment maintenance
- Duties and responsibilities may change with or without notice
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Minimum of two to five years of experience as a Foreperson
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record per Company policy
- Must be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, such as rain, heat, sun, cold
- Knowledge of essential job functions and responsibilities
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Meet all physical requirements of the position
- Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations
- 18 years of age or older, or 21 if CDL is required
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
