Longstead Lawn & Landscape LLC., a family owned, full service Commercial and Residential Landscape, company based in Elizabethtown, PA is looking for a motivated, full-time LANDSCAPE/MOWING TEAM MEMBER.

Essential Functions

• Use and maintain various types of lawn equipment (e.g. zero-turn mowers, push mowers, edging equipment, weed eaters, etc.)
• Edging, weed eating and blowing sidewalks/driveways on a daily basis.
• Perform basic landscape functions (e.g., raking, watering, pulling weeds, seeding, mulching, planting, trimming, clean ups, etc.)
• Ensure work is performed to the company's and customer's expectations.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety.
• Comply with all company policies and safety procedures.
• Work effectively in a group or individually. Be a team player.
• Performs Winter Service - weather permitting (e.g. shoveling snow, salting)
• Typical work week is Monday – Friday, 8-10 hours/days, as job and weather dictates. Over-time when weeks are busy and weather permits.

Key Characteristics:

• At least 1-2 years of landscape and grounds management or similar experience.
• Work is outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, heat, snow and different weather conditions.
• Must be a self-starter with an excellent attitude.
• Must be willing to work long hours during peak season
• Strong team mindset is a must!
• Enjoy seeing an immediate result of your labor and hard work.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to move, lift and carry objects weighing up to 50-80 lbs. Job requires hard work but if you love the outdoors, it is perfect for you.
