Junior Data Analyst Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Analyst to join our team. The Junior Analyst will support the team by performing data analysis, developing reports and providing insights to the team. The ideal candidate must be able to think critically, understand data, and present their findings in an effective and efficient manner to senior level leadership within the organization.

What You will Do

• Perform data analysis to identify trends and develop insights
• Develop reports and visualizations to communicate findings
• Monitor data sources and ensure accuracy of data
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy
• Support the team in developing strategies to improve operations
• Analyze data to identify opportunities to improve performance
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices

What is Required

• BA or BS in quantitative field (Business, Math, Statistics, Economics, CS, Engineering or a related field or demonstration of core technical capabilities
• Minimum of one to three (1-3) years of of data analysis or similar experience
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and SQL
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience with dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looked
• Background working within a team in a data-driven environment
• Commitment to timelines, accuracy, and professionalism
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence others
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and shift gears quickly
• Some experience/knowledge of working in an Agile environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Inquisitive with a strong desire to learn

What We Would Love

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure to use/deploy analytics solutions
• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as R, Python or other data analysis tools
• Masters degree in a quantitative field

Salary Range: $60,000 - 70,000
