Job Summary:
We are a start-up company in the midst of rapid expansion and we are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Paychex Payroll and a solid understanding of HR best practices. As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of HR, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance.
Reports To: Director of HR
Responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations and provide guidance to employees and managers
- Conduct investigations and provide recommendations for resolution
- Administer and execute all aspects of the performance management process
- Facilitate the recruitment process including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing
- Administer employee benefits program including enrollments and terminations
- Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Process payroll through Paychex, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Follow up HR director assigned task
- Finish tasks on due date
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist with expertise in Paychex Payroll
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws and regulations
- Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced in google suite, PDF
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong time management
- Strong prioritization skills

Compensation: $65k-$70k base, plus company bonus
Status: Full-time Exempt, Hybrid (required to go to office at least twice a week)
