Position Summary:
ZEBOX is seeking a Head Community Builder in National Landing, VA to lead its local growth and national expansion, based out of its American Headquarters in National Landing (Crystal City), VA. You will drive local startup ecosystem growth and development while also supporting a broad base of startups and corporate partners located in various locations of the United States. You will also be responsible for delivering the vision and strategy and activating the business to achieve the global strategy. You will also be responsible for establishing the metrics and achievement of targets to exceed startup and partner expectations.
The success of the Head Community Builder will be dependent on building effective partnerships with key stakeholders in the local and national startup and corporate innovation ecosystems across the United States. This includes being an advocate for the community and obtaining the stakeholder support required to deliver best in class corporate innovation experiences for our startups and our corporate partners.

Partner Innovation Scoring
Partner and startup satisfaction (NPS)
Quantity of startups and partners in key, company validated verticals
Responsibilities:
As Head of Community Builder you will report to the Vice President of ZEBOX America and build strong relationships with your US based co-workers, our various international colleagues, as well as a global startup and corporate partner base. You will work collaboratively with your international colleagues to implement and execute best in class programming and support functions across our global ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Program coordination & community engagement
Animate the community of startups, support them operationally and facilitate their needs/requests.
Coordinate the scheduling, logistics, and execution of workshops, masterclasses and conferences.
Liaise and coordinate with experts and mentors throughout the program in collaboration with the Program Coordinator
Imagine and implement new ways to animate your hub and increase engagement into the program
Internal communication
Proactively identify and set up creative solutions & moment of sharing to maintain community engagement and fun.
Communicate and drive the success of startups updates, process changes, company initiatives, and goals to the team.
Identify and spread the relevant calls for applications to startups.
Share news about the community via internal communication channels. Coordinate pitch sessions for internal events.
Community Management
Prepare necessary onboarding & offboarding requirements for community members in collaboration with the Community Manager & Entrepreneur In Residence and ensure teams have been trained thoroughly during the on-boarding process and have all the information necessary to succeed.
Support the deployment of a dedicated interface software between startups and ZEBOX team
Participate in the development of resources for startups on our tools ecosystem
Skills, Education, Experience:
You have a passion for startups and innovation
3+ years in a startup related field (VC, Incubator, Accelerator, Corporate Innovation)
Managed processes previously inside of corporate innovation environments
Well networked in Startup ecosystem in DMV (Washington D.C. / Baltimore) metro area (Founders, accelerators, Economic Development Agencies, universities, angel investors, and Venture Capital firms)
Experience working in matrixed, global teams, working across multiple regions and time zones
Ability to build strong relationships and persuade internal and external stakeholders
Fluent French speaking capabilities is a plus
Ability to work on own initiative and easily adapt to fast-paced startup environments
Emotionally intelligent leader with a track record of being able to adapt their style to different stakeholder audiences across multiple organizations
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
You enjoy and thrive when interacting with others
