We are a small, fun and fast paced company looking for motivated, coachable techs to join our team installing and maintaining APC by Schneider Electric, Eaton, Vertiv and Tripp Lite Uninterruptible Power Supplies. Established in 1988, we are headquartered in Sacramento, California and have service locations in Sunnyvale, Tustin and San Diego.

We are a growing small company and are looking for two new Field Service Techs. We are hiring in a few areas across California however this particular job role is located in Sunnyvale, CA. As a Field Service Tech you will have the opportunity to deliver quality service to top tier companies and government agencies in the following ways:

• Install/maintain/replace/remove UPS systems on customer sites as well as in warehouse
• Replace batteries within UPS systems
• Respond quickly and effectively to customer locations
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues
• Perform site walks to gather and document pre-installation data
• Organize and maintain vehicle/warehouse inventories
• Drive various vehicles to sites, securing materials
• Document field notes/leads in Salesforce and Service Max (training provided)

Qualifications:

We are seeking a high energy, customer focused, team player. We are looking for techs to work in a fast-paced environment while working well with their hands and able to operate various hand and power tools.

• Solid single-phase UPS technical knowledge/background
• Customer service skills: professional, courteous and effective
• Physically capable of regularly lifting heavy items (50lbs. +)
• Excellent communication skills: communicate clearly and effectively
• High School Diploma/ GED
• Clean drug screening
• Clear criminal background investigation
• Clear DMV report and valid driver’s license

Education: 2-year degree from trade school in electrical/power. Previous experience in related field preferred.
