We do not bill health insurance and treat those with and without insurance equally.

Responsibilities:

. Provides care to men, women, and children of all ages. Tailors practice to focus on areas of particular interest.

. Provides care to hard-working uninsured or under-insured patients, assisting them to access care in an affordable manner, with dispensed medications at wholesale prices and contracted discounted cash pay prices for labs and imaging.

. Manages a schedule of 8 to 12 patients per 9 hour shift, with 30 - 90 minute appointment durations. Manages the primary care needs of a panel of up to 600 patients

Focusses on wellness and lifestyle improvements with the option to prescribe medicines when necessary.

. Communicates and coordinates care with individually assigned medical assistant in 1:1 ratio. . Collaborates with co-located Family Physician to share knowledge, experience, and continually improve the quality of care we provide. Option to develop procedural skills if desired.

. Uses point of care tools including microscope, ultrasound, ECG, spirometry, and CLIA waved laboratory tests. Training available during orientation.

. Uses electronic consultation service provided to expand medical knowledge and improve quality of patient care.

Work hours and benefits: We are seeking a full time employee to provide 36 hours per week of direct patient care with small amount of after hours care from home to own panel of patients. Work schedule negotiated to accommodate individual needs. Malpractice insurance and membership to one professional organization costs covered by office. Primary care services provided in office to all employees and their families without cost if desired. Other benefits including health insurance or health share, dental insurance, vision insurance, retirement account, and health savings account negotiated per individual needs.

Qualifications and skills:

. Excellent bedside manner and a heart for empowering patients to live their lives with the highest quality possible is a must.

. Communicates effectively with patients, teammates, and consultants.

. Problem-solves well independently and as part of the team

. Must have interest in and passion for providing care to hard working uninsured patients, as well as those with insurance.

Education and experience requirements:

. Graduate from accredited school of nursing

. National certification as advanced practice nurse in family practice or applicable specialty

. Current RN and NP state licensure

. Prescriptive authority or provisional prescriptive authority with articulated mentoring plan.

. DEA licensure

. We are willing to consider applicants without experience who demonstrate dedication to care of their patients.

Pay: $96,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year
