Highpointe Academy is a licensed childcare center seeking a Lead Teacher! This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic candidate who is passionate about early childhood education. Our mission is to be a nurturing environment for young children trusted by parents. We accomplish this by focusing on the needs of our students through age-appropriate educational activities in a fun, loving, and safe setting.
Compensation: $17 - $20 an hour, based on experience or education *$750 sign on bonus*

Some of the duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children
- Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
- Implementing lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Bachelors in early childhood Education preferred
- College coursework in early childhood education
- Previous experience working in a licensed childcare facility or previous experience working with younger children preferred
