Client Services Specialist - Lab Support Services
At Innovative Gx Laboratories, our vision is to improve patient care by making personalized medicine solutions available to all. We are a growing, San Antonio, Texas-based molecular genetic testing laboratory seeking a full-time Client Services Specialist who can work from our San Antonio location and report to the Assistant Lab Manager.
Job Summary:
The Client Services Specialist performs laboratory support procedures, including administrative, client and patient support and customer service. This important role provides information and instruction on patient results, clinical and laboratory processes and procedures to medical and community customers. Complete training will be provided to the right individual who will have excellent computer skills and is a great verbal, written, and online communicator. Our ideal candidate will have a lab or medical knowledge and enjoys fielding questions and providing support in a high volume laboratory environment. Working at the lab with our small team while also providing client services to internal and external customers across the U.S. will highlight and sharpen your skills in using remote communication platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Slack and Asana.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude
- Prioritizing and responding promptly to customer inquiries
- Communicating with customers efficiently through email, Slack, Asana, Zoom, and other platforms
- Ability to learn quickly becoming an in-house resource on our products and services
- Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
- Recording and acting upon customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
- Dedicated to completing a task through completion
- Communicating, coordinating, and assisting colleagues as necessary.
Requirements:
- Lab, Medical or Clinical experience, college degree a plus
- Ability to convey a positive and professional demeanor and appearance in all communications
- Structured and organized remote work performance Monday through Friday.
- Occasional weekend work
- Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new platforms quickly
- Two years experience working in customer support
- HIPAA and other lab training will be provided and required.
