The Colorado Bureau of Investigations (CBI) Coordinator acts as the Colorado Crime Information Center (CCIC) Coordinator for the CCIC/National Crime Information Center (NCIC) computer systems. Includes warrant maintenance and modification. Makes recordings of 911 calls and police radio traffic for police departments, the district attorney, and defense attorneys. Works closely with dispatchers, dispatch supervisors, technicians, county and district courts, and CBI. Maintains CBI certifications for 911 staff. Recommends procedural changes in order to streamline CBI rules and regulations, and ensures compliance. This is a regular full-time, in-office position.

Qualifications

Two years of related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent required; a combination of related education and experience may be considered. Some college preferred. Working knowledge of computers is required. Must successfully pass a background check, including criminal history.
