The Sales Guide is the backbone of the dispensary, every interaction, large or small, strengthens our mission, and delivers an exceptional experience. They represent the face of the brand in the community and provide the highest standards of guest engagement. Our Sales Guides will be responsible for maintaining the culture of the business by protecting the Pleasantrees brand and showing compassion for our guests. In this position, you are the final check on every sale making sure we are 100% compliant and inventory is accurately dispensed. Reporting to the General Manager, Sales Guides will also be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability by focusing on overall business initiatives.

• Anticipates guests' needs by asking questions and responding with an engaging attitude.
• Exhibits pride through positive demeanor, body language and personal presentation.
• Assist guests with understanding of consumption methods making the best choice for their needs.
• Responsible for creating an unparalleled, unique, and genuine experience for every guest.
• Takes a proactive approach by utilizing provided SOPs and training materials to ensure compliance.
• Flexible and adaptable team player that is willing to do any task needed to operate the dispensary.
• Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained.
• Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system verifying completed sales for discrepancies.
• Comply with company cash handling policies and compliance reporting per company policy.
• Daily compliance with shop policies, including but not limited to state/local regulation, compliance, security protocols, access protocols, inventory tracking, dress code, receipt check, and work schedules
• Work closely with security and check-in to ensure an exceptional, seamless guest experience.
• Contributes to the safety and daily sanitation of the store.

Experience and Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced guest-centric environment.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening (excludes THC).
• Must be compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.
