Billing Assistant - Remote Job at Joy Agency, LLC
Joy Agency, LLC is seeking a Part Time Early Intervention Billing Assistant.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Check children’ health insurance and coordinate with service coordinators and their supervisors to make sure that they are up to date for claim submission.
- Communicate with Health Insurance Company, Medicaid or EI Billing (PCG) for any unpaid claims and “attention needed” tasks.
- Review session notes submitted by providers for Quality Assurance. Check to make sure the session notes are completed with information that they meet NYSDOH BEI and Medicaid Compliance Standards.
- Entered the claims for the acceptable session notes, service coordination activities and evaluations in NYEIS.
- Check payments on submitted claims and generate monthly reports.
Interested individual must have the following qualifications:
- Computer Skills
- Pay Attention to Details
- Excellent oral communication and phone skills
- Experience with paperwork and data entry
- Billing experience a Plus!
Early Intervention Program is funded and regulated by the New York State Department of Health and, in NYC, by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
