Island Helicopters Kauai, Inc. is seeking a full-time, Ground Crew/Line Person who is friendly, a dependable team player and responsible. Applicants should be able to follow directions, speak concisely and clearly, and have a good command of the English language, as you will be required to give a safety briefing before each flight and communicate with guests and coworkers. Job Summary

The Ground Crew/Line Personnel role is for the right person who is responsible for loading and unloading helicopter passengers. Wash and wax helicopters and company vehicles. Yard work, cleaning/sanitizing and other duties as necessary. Line Personnel may be required to take on additional tasks to support the Guest Service Agents. Must have a current driver's license and be able to provide a clean driver's abstract as we do provide courtesy shuttles for passengers. Must be able to obtain all State and Federal Security badges. Ideal candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule and 10-hour days, including some weekends and holidays.

The Ground Crew / Line Personnel role also includes:

• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Loading passengers in/out of helicopters and vehicles
• Providing safety briefings to customers prior to flights
• Providing courtesy shuttle service as needed
• Washing, waxing, detailing of company vehicles
• Yard work including weed eating, mowing, picking up rubbish, washing office windows
• Maintaining the heliport seating area and outside storage shed in neat/orderly fashion, including sanitizing
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects without assistance (some heavy-lifting is required)
• Clean/sanitize the public/guest areas
• Assist Guest Service Agents with customer check-in and other customer service duties
• Anticipate and address customers’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation
• Speak with others using clear and professional language
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
• Drug test and background check may be required
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Required: High School or equivalent, Drivers License (and reliable transportation), must currently live on Kauai.

Desired Additional Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Word, type proficiently and basic computer skills
