Assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing the department and staff to assure quality service on a 24-hour basis. The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for meeting Joint Commission, OBRA Regulations for LTC, complying with corporate policy and procedures, managing supplies and equipment, promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, promoting internal and external customer satisfaction and for appropriate resource management.
Oversees all activities of a nursing home in accordance with established policies and federal and state guidelines. Responsible for strategic planning and profitability and is accountable for all operations and programs. Administers, directs and coordinates the business. Recommends and leads changes to improve the nursing home.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 3 years experience as a Nursing Home Administrator
Licenses/Certificates: Current NM Nursing Home Administrator license
